Jean was born in Sydney
and her mother died when she was 5. She became her father’s
full time carer when she was just 14. He passed away a year later.
Jean had a variety of jobs and married at 21. Wendy was born in
1971, followed by twins Peter and Jason in 1974. When the children
started school Jean took the opportunity to become involved with
the school. She helped the teachers with reading classes every day.
Jean soon noticed there were a number of children with learning difficulties.
These children were suffering low self esteem and there was minimal
support available to them and their parents. She started The Ryde
Learning Difficulties Support Group
Being in touch with other parents and teachers of children with
disabilities, both physical and intellectual, led to the formation
of an umbrella group. The Special Education Joint Committee was formed
to lobby government for more funding, and more rights. Jean was the
group secretary.
In 1984, Jean entered the University of New
South Wales as a mature age student. She studied for a degree in
Psychology & Sociology.
She also owned and managed a hotel in Sydney with her then husband,
at the same time.
Jeans plans changed in 1985 when she discovered she had developed
breast cancer. She was told the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes
and if she did not have chemotherapy she had just two years to live.
Jean chose not to undergo chemotherapy, and instead,
she read everything she could about the power of the mind. Jean began
visualising the
cancer being destroyed and went to an Ashram to learn meditation.
She became very spiritual and looked to find the lesson she felt
she needed to learn in order to turn her illness into something positive.
Jean subsequently divorced her alcoholic husband, and made changes
to her life. Jean believed she was learning from all her experiences
for a purpose, yet to be revealed to her.
Jean
married Les in 1989 and their daughter, Sophie, was born that year.
They bought a hotel in the country, in NSW, but moved back
to Sydney when Les had the first of many strokes. In recent years
Jean has been a successful business woman. She had a small business
in the hospitality industry employing a number of
people.
Jean explains in her own words how visiting John of God in Brazil
has changed her life.
"When Les and I travelled to see John of God, my life was changed
forever. I am a diabetic and before I went to Abadiânia my
blood sugar reading was around 19. My blood pressure was way up,
and my legs were stained a light brown from the calves down because
of bad circulation. I also had lost feeling in some of my toes.
John of God told me I needed invisible, spiritual
surgery and to also visit the sacred waterfall. I had the surgery
and a few days
later I went to the waterfall at the Casa de Dom Inácio. Within
5 minutes of going under the Sacred Waterfall the staining had gone
out of my legs, and the feeling was back in my toes.
Today my legs feel great. My blood sugar
is down to around six and my blood pressure is 125/70. The cancer
has not returned these past
21 years and I feel truly blessed & guided by God & the Entities
each day.
On my last trip to see John of God I asked
permission to take a Crystal Bed home. Not only was I given permission
by Entity to have
a Crystal Bed but I was also told I was an honest woman and I was
to bring people to John of God in Abadiânia for healing.
I now understand what my lessons have been for. I have been taught
how to truly look after, and care for others, and how to guide them
to healing.
My daughter Wendy is a very spiritually strong woman. She is a loving
mother and has 4 daughters Jemima 16 years, Sabrina 9 years, Arielle
6 years, and Zachara is two years old.
Jason has recently married in Scotland. He
is a plumber and has a pilot’s licence.
Peter has recently married a Canadian girl and lives in Canada.
He is a carpenter and also a qualified pilot.
Sophie is still in school and hopes to be a dentist. Sophie, like
her sister Wendy, is very spiritual.
Les and I are truly blessed and humbled to be able to help others
seek potentially miraculous healing in Brazil."
